GLEN DIMPLEX Footy Tipping Competition Terms and Conditions

Please have a read of the titles below to assist you with any problems you may have in regards to Rules related to the GLEN DIMPLEX Online Tipping Competition.

  1. To enter the GLEN DIMPLEX Footy Tipping competition, a tipper must register on the GLEN DIMPLEX Footy Tipping website accessible via a link from the http://tipping.glendimplex.com.au
  2. The GLEN DIMPLEX Footy Tipping competition is via the web site only. That is, participation in the competition is only possible via the GLEN DIMPLEX Footy Tipping website. Entries will not be accepted or processed via email, facsimile telephone, in writing or in any format other than via the web site.
  3. When registering, all compulsory fields must be completed. The compulsory fields are:
    1. Name
    2. Email Address
    3. Contact Telephone
    4. Company Name
    5. Company Address
    6. Username
    7. Password
  4. A reminder email for the next round will be sent out mid-week to help Tipsters get their tips in on time.
  5. Tipping on a game closes 1 hour before the start of play for that particular game.
  6. One point is scored for a result where a Tipster correctly tips a win. In the event of a tie all Tipsters receive a point.

  7. Failure to tip during a week will result in automatic selection of all away games.

    Also, the maximum score for the round in which an automatic selection is made will be 4 correct tips. This means that even if all the 8 away games in a round were correct, the Tipster will only receive 4 points per round per league.

    Also, if default tips are used the Tipster is not eligible for the weekly prize.

  8. Default tip notice: once tipping closes, the server will check to see whether any Tipsters have forgotten to tip and create the default away game tips.
  9. Late entry: Tipsters may enter the competition at any time. Late entrants will be assigned the all past away games as their tips. Their score will then be derived from these tips of previous round(s). As with Default Tips the Tipster may receive no more than 4 points per round, per league.
  10. Results will be published as soon as the results of all fixtures have been added to the site. Normally, this will be by 11am Australian Eastern Standard time on the Monday morning immediately after the round. The website may be unavailable while results are being processed.

  11. The weekly prize(s) will be awarded to the randomly drawn Tipster who is 100% correct on their tips from an individual league for that round. All Tipsters that tip 100% for a league will go into the random draw for the weekly prize. If a Tipster tips correctly in all leagues (ie. NRL and AFL) they receive an entry to the random draw for each 100% correct league (ie. 2 entries). There can be a maximum of one winner for each round of competition. Entries into the random draw are not carried over to the following rounds.

    Also, the weekly prize competition starts at rounds 1(AFL) & 1(NRL) to the last rounds in regular season play. Glen Dimplex Australia Reserves the right to alter these dates or close the weekly competition at anytime.

    Also, maximum of one weekly prize per individual.

  12. Unless otherwise stated, Tipsters are predicting the results after any extra-time or over-time is played if applicable.

  13. The overall winner of each League will be the Tipster with the highest total number of correct tips from that league at the end of the competition. If there is more than one winner of an individual League, the best round performances will be tallied. The Tipster with the most number of rounds of the highest points will be the winner. The Highest points in a single round taking precedent over number of rounds.

    eg. if Tipster A had a total of 8 rounds of 8(max) points and Tipster b had 12 rounds of 6 points and Tipster C had 6 rounds of 8 points then Tipster A would win given he/she had the highest points performances, and Tipster C would be second as they had scored higher points that Tipster B in any particular round.

  14. In the event of a tie, where a clear winner cannot be determined by the aforementioned methods, a random draw will be conducted to determine a clear winner.
  15. Last place prize will be awarded to the lowest ranked Tipster that has not had any default rounds chosen for them. Therefore the lowest ranked person on the leader board at the end of the competition may not necessarily be awarded the prize. The Tipster must have placed their own tips in ALL rounds of ALL competitions to be eligible.
  16. Employees of Glen Dimplex Pty Limited and their families are not eligible for any prizes in this competition.
